Description:	Former castaways compete for another shot at winning the title of Sole Survivor.

Returning Player seasons offer the opportunity to former contestants to play the game of Flipverse Survivor again.

Origins

The idea of former players returning originally occurred in Phokoa.

All Stars

"All Stars" seasons feature casts comprised entirely of returning players. The eponymous season, Phokoa, saw 18 returnees divided into three competing tribes.

Return of the Outcasts saw 20 returnees divided into two tribes based on where they placed on their original seasons. The Vroeg tribe consisted of players voted out before the merge, while the Laat tribe consisted of players who made the merge but did not reach Final Tribal Council.

Fans vs. Favorites

Fans vs. Favorites introduced the "Fans vs. Favorites" twist that saw a tribe of ten returning players pitted against a tribe of ten "superfans".

One Returnee per Tribe

This format features two to three former castaways, each being assigned to a tribe of new players. Kapuluan and Ulwandle followed this format.

Trivia

• Of the 53 returnees: 53 have competed twice, 0 have competed three times, 0 have competed four times, and 0 have competed five times.
• Cassandra Farris and Quentin Shag are the only returning players to never be voted out.
  • Out of these, Cassandra and Quentin are the only ones to have reached the Final Tribal Council every time they competed.
• Darrell Long currently holds the record for the longest period between appearances on Flipverse Survivor, with fourteen seasons.

Seasons and Twists

• Francoli, Guachi and Samala are currently tied for having the most castaways return in future seasons, with six each.
• Francoli, Guachi, and Samala also have the most first-time castaways return in future seasons, with six.
  • TBA has also introduced the highest number of eventual three-time players, with TBA.
• One season has their final four return in future seasons: Samala.
• Throughout his/her Survivor career, TBA is the only person to compete in all four different types of seasons: an all-new players season, a season consisting of half new players and half returnees, a one or two returnee per tribe season, and an all-returnees season.
• TBA was the first pre-merge returnee who failed to reach the merge twice.
• Blaze McKenna has received more votes over his Survivor career than any other returning player, with 23 total votes.
• TBA are the only contestants to make it to the finale episode of a season on three separate occasions.
