Holiday Cutscenes (First Half)[]

Lucky Lucky Matsuri[]

Duke Gotcha Introduces the showbiz host, Emi, who is taking over the Showbiz News segments from now on. The holiday skyrocketed Wonton Sales. Meanwhile, Guy Mortadello created a new movie, but people don't seem to like it, especially Shannon, who wrote a review about it, calling it 'yummy trash'. Your Favorite Celebrity goes to the NowTime Studio to announce a tour, much to your celebration.

Cherry Blossom Fest[]

Emi introduces the release of Clover's new album, "Sushi Salmonella", whose lead single topped the Chillboard Hot 100 Charts. Scarlett, a fellow band member from Scarlett and the Shakers, told reports that she found the album average. Meanwhile, Tohru rejects Mortadello's anime casting, while Tastyville is officially renamed to the name of your Favorite Celebrity in appreciation for hosting their opening night there.

Big Top Carnival[]

There has been a scandal! Sprinks The Clown's face has been revealed to the world without her permission, so she decided to sue her management for a dollar. Turns out, her manager works with none other than NuMarcus. Quinn was quick to finish off the case, ultimately giving Sprinks the justice she needed. Meanwhile, Emi asks the viewers whether they got tickets to the opening night of their favorite celebrity's tour. A few moments later, you were finishing up what you're doing in Potateria when Papa Louie suddenly barges in. You are afraid of what might happen next, but it turns out that because you were doing so well, Papa Louie decided to treat you to your favorite celebrity's opening night.

Comet Con[]

The cutscenes return to the Breaking News Segments. Duke Gotcha announces the acquisition of Comet Con by NuMarcus, renaming it to just 'Nu', ultimately angering a lot of Comic Con fans. NuMarcus' stock grows like wildfire. Meanwhile, your Favorite Celebrity announces a brand new product line, while all other celebrities are preparing their Volcano Gala Donations for next month.

Volcano Gala[]

The news is a special coverage of the Gala this time around, hosted by both Duke Gotcha and Emi. Celebrities are found donating for the cause in Calypso island. Meanwhile, NuMarcus just donated $1B, ultimately acquiring the holiday for himself and renaming it to 'NuParty'. Papa Louie upsettingly loses CEO status for the holiday. Quinn takes note of the consequences of having a holiday monopoly. In other news, Mortadello had just premiered his movie for the Volcano Gala, but Hacky Zak himself is not aware that he was casted for the movie.

Starlight BBQ[]

Duke Gotcha announces a potential acquisition of Starlight by NuMarcus. Due to its political significance, the mayors are very concerned about NuMarcus' potential acquisition. Quinn is there to say that public holidays cannot be acquired, however. The news anchors are all against the acquisition, too, but despite public backlash, NuMarcus acquires Starlight anyway, renaming it to NuStarlight. A lot of holiday fans are in extreme protest that even your Favorite Celebrity has something to say against it. A Prayer vigil for Groovstock was held in hopes that NuMarcus won't acquire the holiday.

Halftime[]

Halftime refers to a period where there are no holidays, existing right after Starlight BBQ and right before Groovstock.

Soon enough, the world is against NuMarcus. Eight cities, including Starlight City, has banned NuMarcus. NuMarcus' assets were investigated, and what they found is a manifesto; a manifesto as to how to take over the world's holidays. NuMarcus apologizes for his actions, but his apologies exposed a lot of his attitude and it horribly backfires. Because of the controversy, Clover releases a new single, 'Shady Business Tactics' and it tops the charts. People celebrate the ending of the Holiday Purge, and NowTime News announces that Shannon Reviews is coming to NowThis News.

Holiday Cutscenes (Part 2)[]

Groovstock[]

The cutscene begins with the premiere of Shannon Reviews, giving reviews to the sounds of Groovstock. In it, she reviews albums and songs that were released during Groovstock. In addition, she notices that Guy Mortadello, whom she calls 'Yummy Trash', had released another bad movie, to which she says he desperately needs film school. She also announces that the player is planning to release a short film promoting Papa's Potateria next month, asking the viewers whether it would hold up or not.

More holidays coming soon

User Interface[]

General[]

Potateria menu 1

The Main Menu

Potateria menu 2

The Stats Menu

Main Menu[]

The menu makes use of the same Papa's Freezeria Deluxe design that was sugarcoated to fit with the game's target color scheme and aesthetic. The background involves a stitched background in Papa Louie Pals. The foods shown in the menu involve two out of three serving sizes available in the fan game: Regular and Basket.

Stats Menu[]

The stats menu had some significant changes compared to the look and design of Papa's Freezeria Deluxe. One difference is the smaller area size dedicated for the rank stats. The free play feature got rid of the food truck because free play servings are served directly inside the movie theaters through people that want a surprise recipe.

In addition, a new interface was added to the right, dedicated for movie suggestions. Another stamp can be found in the calendar, which directly correlates to the day that the player's suggested movie would premiere. The settings button was moved from the bottom to the top of menu to make way for the new movie suggestions button. A preview of the movie's poster can be seen on the interface.

Stations[]

Order Station[]

The order station makes use of the same red-black-yellow color scheme present in many theatrical-themed designs in Papa Louie games. Although the station makes use of the same game design found in Freezeria Deluxe, the overall mood and lighting of the station makes it look more unique compared to all other released Papa Louie restaurant games. The station makes use of the same dynamic lighting concept introduced in Papa's Confectioneria Express.

The scope of the Order Station's features are the same of that of Papa's Freezeria Deluxe. However, the food court, the dining area, and movie take-outs are all available ordering options for customers. The concept of delivering food to suburbs is removed because the restaurant's location is inside of a movie theater, and instead, people can order in advance through their phones so that they won't have to stay in line to order food before their movie nights. They would either have their take-outs served on Order Station or a Theater Room.

Fry Station[]

The station's layout is similar to that of the of Papa's Wingeria To Go. The concept art suggests that a blue-colored basket handle is for the meats, while a yellow-colored basket handle is for the fries. The floating alarms are also inspired from that of the floating alarms found on Papa's Cluckeria. A tray for throwing out mistakes is present on the left, while a tray to send the fryable to the next station is present on the right. There are four boosters; two of which that are in the middle are able to boost two frying baskets.

In order to begin frying, the player must touch an available empty fryer basket. The player will enter a selection pane, similar to that of the Fry Station from Papa's Cheeseria, with the first stage showing two buttons for the fries or the meats respectively. clicking on any will send the player to the next part of the selection pane, where they are able to choose from either fries or meats depending on the button pressed. They can also cancel the selection by pressing on the 'x' button that appears when an empty fryer is tapped. The player will now have to wait until the green bar reaches the top line, and when it does, the fryable should be dropped on the green tray where it will proceed to the next station.

Shake Station[]

The Shake Station features a Wingeria-esque looking station, with design inspirations from Bakeria's Hexagons. The station starts with the selection screen of eighteen flavors. Once the player is done picking their choice, they click on the green button and they begin shaking. The player should shake gently to ensure that the fryable's coating won't break, else they will lose points. They will also lose points if they overshake. Once the player is done shaking the food, they must press the yellow button and it transfers the fries into the Build Station dispenser.

Build Station[]

The Build Station features a Freezeria Deluxe-inspired dispensing of ingredients. The dispenser spews out a variety of ingredients. First, the player selects which container to use. Then, they will click on any of their premade fries to drop it in the container. Depending on the contain, the player may have to this once, or twice. The player must also drop their meat fryables if they selected the basket as the container. If the player presses the wrong choice by accident, an upgrade is available to reverse these mistakes. Then, the station goes to the dressing part where you can add sauces, toppings, or toppers to your liking.

Workers[]

You both know these people as the goodie players of the film industry; though unfortunately, the film industry ain't playing them that well. Here's to Kenton and Simone, wearing their official uniforms: Filmreel Fashion!Catnip Fortywinks
Potateria chefs

Kenton & Simone: Filmreel Fashion

It has been claimed that the reason for Kenton and Simone's position as chefs are defined by their photogenic sense and professional background. Kenton, being a producer, and Simone, being a sound recordist synchronizes with the game's look and feel. Didar was mentioned by one of the forum members as Simone's partner, but the creator thought of it as an oversight not to make Didar the male chef. The logo featuring Kenton had been finished before the discussion was made.'

The Filmreel Fashion style consists of Sugarplex identification cards, long gloves, Sugarplex shirts, and big belts. For Simone, a yellowed version of her headphones are also present.
